Tehilim is a powerful book composed by King David. It's a book of songs and praises he wrote to Hashem throughout his life. When things seemed to go wrong, he would connect with Hashem and ask for help. When things went well in his life, he would connect to Hashem and praise Him.
It is said that King David felt every feeling that any person in the world can ever feel, and he was always able to stay connected.
At this time of need, we are asking you also to connect to Hashem and pray on behalf of Eliyahu B-n Shoshana, may Hashem grant him a speedy recovery.
Below you will find a verse of Tehilim. You can say it in Hebrew, with the transliteration, or in English. Remember, prayer is accepted in any language :-)
Tehilim - Chapter 121
1. A Song of Maalot. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. From where does my help come?
2. My help comes from the L-rd, who made heaven and earth!
3. He will not let your foot be moved; He who watches you will not slumber!
4. Behold, He who watches Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep!
5. The L-rd is your keeper; the L-rd is your shade upon your right hand!
6. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night!
7. The L-rd shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul!
8. The L-rd shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and for evermore!
